THE ELG VIRTUAL MEETING

ELG members had the virtual meeting on the 14th of October.

Two keynote speakers presented relevant issues on Energy topic.
Dr. DIRK BUSCHLE Deputy director, General counsel of Energy Community, Head of DR and negotiations center under Energy Community Secretariat, Iberdrola Manuel Marin Professor for European Energy Policy at the College of Europe raised an assumption “European Energy Law – An Obituary” and told about European energy law in transition.

The second guest speaker Mr. DAMIEN MEADOWS, the Acting Head of the European Commission’s unit responsible for the International Carbon Market, aviation and maritime made a speech on The Green Deal and finalized that the Coronavirus will have a vaccine sooner or later and there is no vaccine for climate change, so we have to contribute in this area.
